How can I sign up for a program?

Bookings are made directly by email or phone. A consultation should take precedence over any booking to give you the opportunity to meet the trainer – and also so you can receive a dog evaluation to make sure that your dog is signing up for the most fitting program.

E-collar training is optional and available at the dog owner’s request. E-collars are not used by default in any of our training.

E-collar training is only implemented for dogs whose owners have requested this specific training method. Our trainers can use them for long-range recall and heeling commands.

E-collar work is only optional for dogs in the 3-week+ programs. This is because a dog must be fully trained on all vocal commands before e-collars can be layered into those well-versed vocal commands.

If a dog owner does request e-collar work, it should be noted that Southeast Off Leash trainers do NOT use e-collars on dogs as a form of correction or punishment.

The dog owner(s) are given a 1–2-hour hands-on lesson on the day of the dog’s graduation lesson. Following training, each dog owner has up to three private sessions (30 mins) available to schedule with their trainer at Southeast Off Leash.

Yes! We encourage the dog owner(s) to schedule a meeting time to see their dog during their Board & Train program.

Dog owners will receive video links to their dog’s training sessions throughout the program. Additionally, owners can stay involved by scheduling visits with their dog once per week.

16 months old is the minimum age for puppies.

Yes, we work with all breeds. Purebreds and mixed breeds are both capable and welcome in all our training programs.
